Design combines elements of both art and commerce. I’ve always had an interest in design, but my actual experience with it began a few years ago when I learned Adobe Creative Suite to set up files for clients of my family’s printing company. Once I figured out how to harness the power of those programs I decided to apply those skills to my own areas of interest.

Graphic Design
In my creative career I have designed logos and promotional material for both digital and print campaigns. While I include samples of that work in my visual portfolio, the content in the Graphic Design section includes work that forms part of my personal design story.

Textile Design
I’ve always fantasized about a career in fashion design. As soon as I figured out how to use design programs, I began working on Textile Design projects. My goal is to be able to print them on fabric and use them for fashion and interior design projects in the future.

Product Design
Vendor opportunities at local street fairs and boutiques inspired my Product Design projects. I chose products that tied into The New Miamian as a brand but also my personal interests.
